Person Dies in East California Avenue Hit-and-Run Collision [Bakersfield, CA]

Bakersfield, CA (May 9, 2022) – On Sunday night, a pedestrian sustained fatal injuries in an East California Avenue hit-and-run collision.

The authorities responded to the crash scene at about 10:45 p.m. at the intersection with Baker Street.

When they arrived, the deputies located a person dead on the roadway.

Witnesses say a vehicle drove from the scene after the accident.
