Person Dies in Avenue 7 Head-On Crash [Madera, CA]

Madera County, CA (October 01, 2021) – On Thursday, a man lost his life in Avenue 7 head-on crash.

The authorities responded to the crash scene at about 5:15 a.m. near Highway 99.

Officers said the fatal crash involves a Chevy S-10 pickup truck and a Honda Civic. Rescuers freed both drivers from their vehicles.

Unfortunately, one driver died at the scene.

The rescuers took the other driver to a hospital, though there is no update on the driver’s condition.

Officers found a dog in the bed of the pickup truck. Animal Control responded to pick the dog up, but it was not known if it was injured in the accident.
