Injuries Reported in Rancho Park Fatal Crash
Los Angeles, CA (April 7, 2024) – A person was killed following a 10 Freeway wrong-way crash early Sunday morning.
It was past 1:50 a.m. when the three-vehicle crash happened on the westbound freeway near Overland Avenue in Rancho Park.
Officers received reports about a motorist driving east on the westbound lanes just before the accident. Investigators said that reported wrong-way driver is the cause of this traffic accident.
The authorities said it is not yet known if the deceased was an occupant on the vehicle traveling the wrong-way.
Moreover, three people were freed from their crumpled vehicle and they were transported to local hospitals.
CHP officers are investigating if the wrong-way driver was under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol at the time of the accident.
