Perla Mireya Arsiniega and Rene Martinez-Gonzalez Injured in Fatal Crash on State Highway 349 [Midland, TX]

1-Year-Old Dead in Midland Accident on State Highway 349 and Tom Craddick Bypass

 
MIDLAND, TX (January 19, 2023) – Early Monday, Perla Mireya Arsiniega and Rene Martinez-Gonzalez sustained injuries in a fatal crash on State Highway 349.
 
The incident happened at around 1:30 a.m. on SH 349 and Tom Craddick’s Bypass.
 
According to reports, an eastbound 2018 Nissan Altima veered off the south side of the road. Then, it struck a fence and a utility pole.
 
Moreover, paramedics transported the Nissan driver, 27-year-old Rene Martinez-Gonzalez, and a passenger, 29-year-old Perla Mireya Arsiniega to a hospital. Officers noted that both of them were in stable condition. Then, officers confirmed that a 1-year-old passenger of the vehicle died at the scene.
 
Meanwhile, the fatal incident remained under investigation.
