Two People Sustain Injuries in Interstate 10 Big Rig Crash [Phoenix, AZ]

Phoenix, AZ (October 6, 2023) – Two people were injured Thursday morning following an Interstate 10 big rig crash.

DPS troopers stated that the traffic accident happened at about 5:30 a.m. near the 67th Avenue exit.

Around 5:30 a.m., DPS troopers reported a crash near the 67th Avenue exit. 

ADOT traffic cameras in the location showed an overturned gig rig hauling 36,000 pounds of cheese collided with a pickup truck. 

The paramedics responded to the scene and took the two injured people to an area hospital.

Moreover, officers said there was a small diesel fuel leak from the wreck. Troopers asked the motorists to avoid the area.
