Everett Crash Hospitalized People
Everett, WA (July 16, 2021) – On Wednesday, people were hospitalized in Highway 99 two-car crash.
The accident happened at about 5:10 p.m., wherein officers said the involved Mazda driver was at fault.
A 20-year-old Everett woman in a white Mazda CX-9 was passing another car at full speed. Reports said she was on the right shoulder near the intersection of Gibson Road.
Subsequently, her vehicle crashed into the passenger-side door of a blue Volkswagen Jetta that was about to turn left out of a southbound turn lane.
A 21-year-old Snohomish passenger was seriously injured. Emergency responders took the victim to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.
Meanwhile, the two drivers incurred less-serious injuries. Rescuers took the 33-year-old Jetta driver to Providence Regional Medical Center Everett, while they took the Mazda driver to Swedish Edmonds.
Moreover, officers said the Highway 99 two-car crash was the Mazda driver’s fault. They did not suspect her of being under the influence of drugs or alcohol during the crash. Also, officers did not arrest or charge her with a crime as of Thursday.
