REDDING, CA (March 18, 2019) – Multiple victims sustained injuries Friday morning, in a car collision on 5 Freeway. Their identities have not yet been given.
 
Reports revealed the accident involved two unidentified vehicles. Details regarding the circumstances leading up to the collision have not been released. However, traffic was stalled on the freeway for multiple hours. Despite the open lanes, heavy delays occurred.
 
Officials found multiple victims in one of the vehicles suffering from non-life threatening injures upon arrival. Meanwhile, the occupants from the second vehicle remained unharmed.
 
Crews worked to cleanup the scene and finalize preliminary duties following the accident. The surrounding lanes reopened around 9:00 a.m., shortly after.
