Fatal Pedestrian Crash on Curtis Drive in Penngrove
PENNGROVE, CA (March 28, 2019) – A pedestrian was killed after being struck by a vehicle Thursday evening in unincorporated Sonoma County.
The fatal crash happened around 9:17 p.m. at the intersection of Curtis Drive and Petaluma Hill Road, just near the Sonoma State University.
Details are sparse on what exactly transpired, but the pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.
The involved vehicle was not described.
Petaluma Hill Road was closed between Roberts Road and East Cotati Avenue for the on-scene investigation, CHP officials said.
