Peggy Kandler Dead in Bakersfield Car Accident on Hughes Lane
BAKERSFIELD, CA (November 26, 2019) – A 50-year-old woman died in a car accident on Hughes Lane on November 24.
50-year-old Peggy Kandler died in a two-car collision shortly after 2:00 p.m. when she tried turning onto Hughes Lane from Holden Way.
A BPD spokesman revealed that as Peggy Kandler attempted onto Hughes Lane, a 20-year-old man driving a northbound car on Hughes lane hit her.
The Bakersfield Police Department hasn’t figured out whether drugs or alcohol are factors in the crash. However, they ruled out speed as a factor in the fatal accident.
