According to trooper John Bryant, the crash occurred at around 2:00 p.m., on State Route 28 near the Trinidad Hill west of Quincy.
Reports revealed that a westbound 1996 Toyota Camry driven by a 75-year-old Chelan man was hit by unsecured large wooden poles.
Moreover, the poles were dislodged from a trailer being hauled by an eastbound 1997 Ford F-150. The said trailer was driven by 66-year-old Pedro Mendoza of Ephrata.
Furthermore, responders transported the Camry driver and a passenger to a hospital to be checked for injuries.
Then, authorities cited Mendoza for failing to secure his load.
