Pedestrian Struck and Killed by Vehicles on Bear Valley Road and 3rd Avenue [Hesperia, CA]

27-Year-Old Pedestrian Dead in Hesperia Pedestrian Accident

HESPERIA, CA (February 27, 2019) — A 27-year-old pedestrian died after being hit by multiple vehicles on February 26 on Bear Valley Road.

According to the authorities, they are still in search of the two drivers that hit the pedestrian. In addition, police state the victim was already lying on the road when the two hit-and-run vehicles.

It was around 1:57 a.m. when a 27-year-old Las Vegas male resident walked across Bear Valley Road. Just east of 3rd Avenue, a 2013 Ford Fiesta hit the victim in the eastbound lane.

The 23-year-old Hesperia woman who struck him stopped after the accident.

After the pedestrian was hit by the Ford, a black sedan similar to a Honda hit the pedestrian a second time. Soon after, another 4 door white Honda Civic hit him for the third time. The last two vehicles didn’t stop and they both escaped the area after hitting the pedestrian.

“Deputies from the Hesperia Police Department and Paramedics with the Hesperia Fire Department immediately responded to the scene. [They] found the pedestrian deceased at the roadway,” the release statement revealed.

Investigators with the Major Accident Investigation Team (MAIT) are asking for the help of the public. According to police, they are working to identify the involved cars and its drivers.
