77-Year-Old Hospitalized after San Diego Pedestrian Accident on University Avenue
SAN DIEGO, CA (September 23, 2019) – A 77-year-old pedestrian suffered severe injuries after a car hit her on University Avenue on September 20.
The San Diego police revealed that a westbound 2015 Lexus struck the woman around 7:30 a.m. as she walked south across the 4800 block of University Avenue.
As a result, medics arrived shortly after the accident. After that, they transported her to a hospital for treatment of a brain bleed and a dislocated pelvis, Officer Tony Martinez revealed.
“The injuries are life-threatening,” he added. However, her condition is unknown at this time.
It’s still unknown who’s at fault for the accident.
