Pedestrian Hurt in Puyallup Car Accident
PUYALLUP, WA (February 5, 2019) — A person sustained injuries after being struck by a hit-and-run driver on Meridian Avenue January 1.
The authorities are still searching for the driver involved in this pedestrian accident.
The incident occurred on North Meridian Avenue and Highway 167 on and off ramps, Puyallup Police revealed in a statement. As a result of the crash, the person who was struck suffered serious injuries.
According to the police, they are in search of a dark-colored Ford SUV that will probably be missing one of its side mirrors. Anyone who has information on this collision is urged to contact police at 253-770-3343.
The police also added that the incident shut down multiple lanes in the area but have since reopened.
