San Bernardino Man Struck and Killed by Vehicle in Bloomington
BLOOMINGTON, CA (February 4, 2019) – An 18-year-old man died after being struck by a vehicle on 10 Freeway around 5:00 a.m. Thursday morning.
Seth Wilhoite, an 18 year-old resident of San Bernardino was pronounced dead at the scene.
According to the California Highway Patrol, dispatchers began receiving calls a few minutes before the accident about a man – identified as Wilhoite – attempting to cross the westbound lanes of the 10 Freeway, west of Cedar Avenue, in Bloomington.
Callers reported that he was at the center divider before being struck by a vehicle. He was in shorts and a hoodie at the time of the accident.
The California Highway Patrol is investigating the collision. No additional information has been given at this time.
