Pedestrian Sustains Major Injuries in Hit-and-Run Crash on Kearny Avenue
SAN DIEGO, CA (November 15, 2019) – A pedestrian was seriously injured in a hit-and-run crash on Kearny Avenue on Friday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash happened near the intersection of Cesar Chavez Parkway at approximately 11:00 AM.
Based on a report from the San Diego Police Department, a 52-year-old woman crossed the street when a white Ford F-150 struck her. The pickup truck fled the scene right after the incident.
Medics said that the pedestrian suffered life-threatening head trauma. As a result, paramedics transported her to a hospital for treatment.
