1 Dead in San Diego Train Accident near Trestles Beach

 
SAN DIEGO, CA (September 21, 2020) – Friday morning, a pedestrian died in a commuter train crash near Trestles Beach, police reported.
 
The incident happened before 6:30 a.m. just east of the mouth of San Mateo Creek in the San Onofre area.
 
Meanwhile, the San Diego Sheriff’s Department confirmed that the pedestrian succumbed to injuries at the scene.
 
However, they haven’t released the identity of the victim. Moreover, they haven’t determined the reason why the victim.
 
The train crash near Trestles Beach remains under active investigation.
