Authorities Investigate Fatal Pedestrian Crash on Jones Street

San Francisco, CA (May 25, 2024) On Thursday afternoon, a male pedestrian was killed in a traffic crash on Ellis Street.

According to San Francisco police, the fatal crash happened around 12:40 p.m. in the area of Ellis Street and Jones Street.

Reports say that a commercial truck struck a pedestrian in San Francisco’s Tenderloin neighborhood.

Officials say that the pedestrian was rushed to a hospital where the male pedestrian succumbed to his injuries and was declared dead at the hospital.

Authorities are investigating the fatal pedestrian crash and have not released additional information at this time.
