60-Year-Old Pedestrian Dies after Crash on North Campbell Avenue in Tucson
Tucson, AZ (January 28, 2022) – Thursday night, a 60-year-old pedestrian died in a crash on North Campbell Avenue and East Waverly Street.
The fatal crash in Tucson happened before 9 p.m. on January 27.
Authorities said the pedestrian was attempting to cross North Campbell Avenue in the 2000 block from east to west when he was hit by a driver, 20 years old, in a black 2003 Chevrolet Silverado.
Moreover, a witness said the pedestrian was not in a crosswalk and was sprinting to get across the roadway.
The pedestrian died at the crash scene.
