Man Struck and Killed by Semi Truck on 215 Freeway
San Bernardino, CA (May 21, 2020) – Yesterday in the early morning, a male pedestrian was killed on Interstate 215 by a semi truck.
Dispatchers first received reports of the incident at around 5:30 a.m., on the 215 freeway north of Kendall Drive.
The first unit of officers arrived on the scene at approximately 5:41 a.m.
There, on the northbound side of I-215, they found an unconscious male on the right shoulder. Officials pronounced him dead at the scene.
The semi truck which presumably struck them man remained on the scene, his vehicle stopped on the left lane.
In response to the collision, crews diverted traffic from the scene.
However, the roadway opened a few hours later.
