Multiple Vehicles Involved in Hit-and-Run Crash that Kills Pedestrian on Highway 37

 
VALLEJO, CA (November 10, 2019) – A pedestrian died in a hit-and-run crash involving multiple vehicles early Sunday morning in Vallejo.
 
The fatal crash was reported at 12:08 a.m. on Highway 37 at Fairgrounds Drive.
 
According to initial reports, several vehicles and a pedestrian were involved. A pickup truck that first hit the pedestrian did not stop to render aid.
 
Police arrived and confirmed the fatality of the incident. They did not provide the identity of the victim pending next of kin notification.
 
CHP officials issued a SigAlert in the area, blocking all lanes of Highway 37 while they investigated the incident.
