Man Fatally Struck by Hit-and-Run Driver on Florin Road

 
FLORIN, CA (February 13, 2020) – A pedestrian was killed in a hit-and-run crash early Thursday morning in the Florin area of Sacramento County.
 
The deadly crash just after 2:00 a.m. on eastbound Florin Road near Kara Drive.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the man was on the right shoulder of Florin Road when a vehicle struck him.
 
The unidentified victim suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene.
 
The driver of the involved vehicle did not stop to render aid.
 
Based on physical evidence, investigators believe the suspect vehicle is a 2002 BMW M3. The sports car likely has moderate or major damage to its right-front end.
