Fatal Pedestrian Hit-and-Run Crash on Florin Road in Sacramento

 
SACRAMENTO, CA (September 14, 2019) – A pedestrian was killed in a hit-and-run crash Saturday evening in South Sacramento County, the California Highway Patrol said.
 
The crash happened just before 8:00 p.m. on Florid Road, just east of Highway 99.
Emergency personnel found a woman lying in the roadway and pronounced her dead at the scene.
 
The vehicle that struck the victim reportedly took off without rendering aid.
 
At this time, officials are still investigating the incident and on the lookout for the suspect.
