Pedestrian Struck and Killed by Train in Van Nuys, Los Angeles
LOS ANGELES, CA (February 18, 2019) – A pedestrian was killed after being struck by a train in Van Nuys Thursday night.
According to Amy Bastman of the Los Angeles Fire Department, firefighters arrived at the scene at about 10:20 p.m. They found the victim in the 7700 block of Van Nuys Boulevard, north of Saticoy Street and near the Van Nuys train station. The victim, whose age and gender were not disclosed, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities are still investigating the cause of the crash.
