LOS ANGELES, CA (May 16, 2019) – A person died in a hit-and-run accident on Melrose Avenue on May 15.
 
The crash happened at around 10:10 p.m. on Melrose Avenue and Ogden Drive near Fairfax High School. However, details surrounding the accident are unclear.
 
According to the police, a vehicle struck the pedestrian near the high school. In addition, the victim died at the scene.
 
Authorities are looking for a black sedan that escaped from the scene.
