Police Actively Seeking Suspect in PCH Pedestrian Hit-and-Run Crash
Long Beach, CA (April 22, 2022) On Thursday, a female pedestrian dies in a hit-and-run collision on Harbor Avenue.
According to the Long Beach police (LBPD), the fatal accident happened at about 11:35 p.m. at Pacific Coast Highway.
Officials say that a westbound 2002 Toyota Avalon traveling struck the homeless woman.
Reports say that the woman, in her 30s, was crossing at the intersection when the Toyota hit her.
Afterward, the vehicle fled and was last seen going north to Santa Fe Avenue.
Police are investigating the incident and have not released additional information on the accident.
