Pedestrian Killed in Highway 880 Accident [Oakland, CA]

Oakland, CA (July 13, 2023) – On Thursday early morning, a pedestrian sustained fatal injuries following a Highway 880 accident.

The authorities responded to the crash scene past 3:39 a.m. north of the southbound off-ramp at 23rd Avenue wherein a big rig was involved.

Meanwhile, officers closed the southbound lanes at 16th Avenue, and the traffic was diverted off the highway. 

Officers are investigating the fatal collision.
