Pedestrian Dies in Crash on E Grand Avenue Crash in South San Francisco 

South San Francisco, CA (January 27, 2022) – Thursday morning, a pedestrian died in a crash on E Grand Avenue and Forbes Boulevard.

The fatal crash in South San Francisco happened at around 6:25 a.m. on January 27. 

A witness said the car was approaching a stale green light at the intersection. That’s when the pedestrian was crossing E. Grand Ave.

Moreover, police said the person may have been crossing outside of the crosswalk against a red light when the driver hit him.

The driver pulled over to help the pedestrian.

EMS then transported the pedestrian to a hospital where he died from his injuries.

Police said impairment does not appear to be a factor in this collision.
