82-Year-Old Rohnert Park Man Dies after Crash on San Simeon Drive and Snyder Lane in Rohnert Park

Rohnert Park, CA (July 1, 2022) – Friday noon, an 82-year-old Rohnert Park man died in a crash on  San Simeon Drive and Snyder Lane.

The fatal auto-pedestrian crash in Rohnert Park happened on July 1.

Police said a burgundy Ford Fusion struck the pedestrian while walking south.

The man died at the crash scene. 

The female driver remained at the scene and said the man had just come out of the blue.

Moreover, investigators said the man walked not in a crosswalk and was struck on a section of the expressway with two lanes in each direction and trees lining the raised center median.

Further investigation into this fatal crash is ongoing.
