SACRAMENTO, CA (December 23, 2021) – Tuesday afternoon, a pedestrian died in a crash on Richards Boulevard near 5th Street.
 
The crash occurred just before 6:00 p.m. on Richards Boulevard. Moreover, it happened between 5th Street and 7th Street.
 
When the officers came to the scene, they located a person struck by a vehicle. At this time, the authorities haven’t identified what led up to the crash. Afterward, responders took the victim to the hospital and. However, the victim later died at the hospital.
