Driver Wanted in San Die Fatal Crash
Point Loma, CA (December 6, 2024) – A jogger between 20 to 30 years old was killed in a hit-and-run crash on Nimitz Boulevard early Thursday morning.
It was about 5 a.m. when the deadly traffic crash happened in San Diego.
Troopers said a black BMW appeared to be street racing with a white Ford Mustang on the southbound lanes of Nimitz Boulevard.
At the same time, a pedestrian began to cross Nimitz Boulevard against a red light and was hit by the BMW.
The pedestrian was declared dead at the crash scene.
Immediately, the BWM fled the scene but the authorities later found the vehicle unoccupied at 3500 Canon Street.
Moreover, the authorities are looking for the Mustang driver and the BMW driver for striking the pedestrian.
Police are investigating the San Die fatal crash.
