Pedestrian Killed in Crash on Nord Avenue and La Linda Lane [Chico, CA]

1 Dead in Chico Pedestrian Accident on Nord Avenue

 
CHICO, CA (September 13, 2020) – Friday night, a pedestrian died in a crash on Nord Avenue in Chico.
 
The incident occurred at around 9:15 p.m. on Nord Avenue and La Linda Lane. Upon receiving reports of the pedestrian crash, the Chico Police Department responded to the scene. Then, upon their arrival, they located the unresponsive pedestrian.
 
Afterward, responders took the pedestrian to a local hospital. However, after undergoing lifesaving efforts, the pedestrian succumbed to injuries.
 
Meanwhile, the authorities shut down the road for around five hours. They closed the road to let the Chico Police Department Major Accident Investigation Team worked at the scene.
 
At this time, the authorities haven’t disclosed the identity of the driver due to pending family notification.
