Phoenix, AZ (November 17, 2022) – Early Thursday morning, a pedestrian died in a crash on Interstate 10.

The fatal crash in Phoenix happened just before 2 a.m. near 83rd Avenue.

Reportedly, troopers were first called to check out reports of a pedestrian heading onto the I-10, but a vehicle had already been struck before troopers arrived.

DPS said the pedestrian died at the crash scene.
