Fatal Chula Vista Pedestrian Accident on 600 E Street

 
CHULA VISTA, CA (February 1, 2021) – Saturday night, a pedestrian succumbed to injuries after a crash on 600 E Street.
 
The Chula Vista Police Department revealed that the fatal incident occurred just after 7:00 p.m. Moreover, it happened on the 600 block of E Street.
 
According to the police, the driver of a 2014 Toyota Tundra traveled east on E Street. Then, he struck a pedestrian walking across the road outside of a crosswalk.
 
As a result, responders took the pedestrian to the hospital. However, the patient later succumbed to injuries. Meanwhile, the driver stayed at the scene and has been cooperative with the police investigation.
 
Also, the authorities do not believe that alcohol or drugs played a role in the collision.
 
Due to the limited information available, the authorities continue to investigate the crash.
