Clovis man Ruben Robles Junior Dies in Pedestrian Accident
Clovis, CA (June 14, 2021) – On Saturday, a male pedestrian named Ruben Robles Jr., 32, of Clovis, was fatally struck in a Clovis Avenue accident.
The fatal crash took place before 11 p.m. at the Santa Ana intersection.
Officer said a northbound driver struck the Clovis man as he crossed the road.
Unfortunately, the pedestrian died at the scene of the accident.
The authorities also said that the man put himself in a dangerous spot.
“It appears that he was crossing across the center median outside of a crosswalk,” says Clovis Police Sgt. Chris Berna.
Meanwhile, the involved driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation.
As of this moment, the driver is not under suspicion of driving impaired.
