Male Dies after Auto-Pedestrian Crash on 101 Freeway and 10 Freeway in Boyle Heights

 
Boyle Heights, CA (April 21, 2021) – Tuesday night, a male pedestrian died after being struck by a car near the junction of the 101 and 10 freeways crash.
 
The Boyle Heights fatal crash happened at about 8:25 p.m. on April 20, on the transition from the southbound 101 to the eastbound 10.
 
The California Highway Patrol initial reports indicate that the victim sat on the right shoulder of the freeway. However, another piece of information today said that the man was struck near a center divider.
 
EMS declared the man dead at the crash scene. Police did not release his identity yet.
 
CHP continues to investigate the circumstances which led to this 101 Freeway and 10 Freeway fatal crash.
