Unidentified Victim Pronounced Dead after Pedestrian Collision on Tully Road in San Jose

 
San Jose, CA (April 27, 2020) – Late Sunday night, one unidentified pedestrian was killed in an auto crash on Tully Road near King Road.
 
San Jose police received crash reports around 10:38 p.m., on April 26. Dispatchers arrived at Tully Road, near King Road.
 
The victim was reportedly walking across the eastbound lanes of Tully Road when a 2017 Toyota Prius struck him. Additionally, the man was not in the marked crosswalk at the time.
 
Emergency personnel immediately transported him to a nearby hospital for life-threatening injuries. However, he later died while undergoing treatment.
 
Meanwhile, the Prius driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the police investigation. His identity, as well as the victim, remains undisclosed.
 
The surrounding area on Tully Road was closed off for a brief time during cleanup and preliminary duties.
 
Furthermore, police continue the investigation and asking anyone with information regarding the crash to contact the San Jose police Traffic Investigation Unit at 408-277-4654.
