Fatal Pedestrian Crash on San Pablo Dam Road in El Sobrante

 
EL SOBRANTE, CA (November 21, 2019) – A pedestrian was killed after being struck by a vehicle Thursday night in Contra Costa County.
 
The fatal crash happened around 6:05 p.m. in the 4600 block of San Pablo Dam Road, just east of Clark Road.
 
Arriving units found the pedestrian with major injuries. Life-saving measures were performed before they took the victim to a hospital, where the individual was pronounced dead.
 
Contra Costa sheriff’s deputies and Contra Costa County Fire Protection District firefighters also responded to the scene.
 
Further details, including the identity of the victim, were not immediately available. An investigation is still ongoing.
