Pedestrian Killed after Struck by Vehicle on 10 Freeway at Central Avenue [MONTCLAIR, CA]

Deadly Pedestrian Crash on 10 Freeway in Montclair

 
MONTCLAIR, CA (November 23, 2019) -A pedestrian died after being struck by a vehicle Saturday evening in Montclair, CHP officails said.
 
The incident happened around 7:35 p.m. on 10 Freeway at Central Avenue.
 
According to an initial report, a white Lexus hit the pedestrian on the westbound side of the freeway. Arriving units pronounced the pedestrian dead at the scene.
 
Authorities did not release the victim’s identity pending notification of next of kin.
 
A coroner’s official was immediately notified to pick up the victim’s remains.
