Early Morning Pedestrian Crash on Estelle Street in Home Gardens Turns Deadly

 
HOME GARDENS, CA (September 10, 2019) – A pedestrian died after a vehicle struck them early Tuesday morning in the unincorporated Home Gardens area of Riverside County.
 
Firefighters responded to the scene at Estelle and McKinley streets about 4:10 a.m., where they located the pedestrian.
 
Paramedics performed life-saving aid, but the victim died at the scene.
 
It was unclear if the pedestrian was in a marked crosswalk at the time of the crash.
 
The California Highway Patrol is still investigating the incident. No identifying information is being released at this time.
