Pedestrian Killed after Struck by Car on Highway 33 at Lost Hills Road [MCKITTRICK, CA]

Fatal Pedestrian Accident on Highway 33 in McKittrick

 
MCKITTRICK, CA (August 13, 2019) – A pedestrian was killed after being struck by a car Tuesday evening in McKittrick.
 
The crash happened just before 9:00 p.m. on Highway 33 near Lost Hills Road.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the pedestrian was walking in the middle of the roadway when he was hit by an unknown vehicle. The impact killed the pedestrian.
 
The involved driver stopped and called authorities.
 
Officers say the driver is cooperating with the investigation and don’t believe alcohol or drugs played a factor in the crash.
 
The identity of the victim has been withheld pending notification of his family members.
