LONG BEACH, CA (November 23, 2020) – On Saturday, an accident on Park Avenue killed a pedestrian in Long Beach, California.
 
According to Long Beach police Lt. Bob Titus, the incident occurred at Park Avenue at around 5:25 p.m.
 
Responding paramedics pronounced the man hit by the car, whose name was not released, dead at the scene.
 
The driver who struck and killed the man remained at the scene to cooperate with the authorities.
 
All lanes on PCH between Anaheim Road and Ximeno Avenue was closed due to the crash.
 
The Park Avenue accident is under active investigation.
