Injury in 1403 Ocean Street Pedestrian Accident

Santa Cruz, CA (August 06, 2021) – On Wednesday night, a pedestrian suffered unspecified injuries in an SUV crash on Ferrells Donut Shop.

The authorities responded to the accident scene at about midnight on 1403 Ocean Street.

Officers said a black Ford Expedition’s driver lost control of the vehicle.

The SUV to rammed into the side of the building. It struck a pedestrian and a bicycle. Police could not confirm if the pedestrian is the owner of the bike.

Right away, responding officers rushed the unidentified pedestrian to a Bay Area trauma center in Berkeley. Reports said facility released the pedestrian later that day.

Moreover, investigating officers said the driver-side floormat was stuck under the accelerator. They said the crash was an accident.

The involved driver remained on scene and cooperated with the investigation.
