Tuscumbia, MO (November 22, 2024) – A Miller County deputy was involved in a crash on Highway 17 where a pedestrian was hit.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol’s online crash report states a 25-year-old man, the deputy. was driving a 2024 Ford Explorer at 9:18 pm on Thursday.
The report states the Explorer was passing oncoming traffic and hit the man.
The 26-year-old pedestrian was flown to University Hospital, in serious condition.
A Highway Patrol spokesperson confirmed that a Miller County deputy was driving the SUV that hit the man.
