41-Year-Old Woman Injured in I Street and 4th Street Crash

 
Eureka, CA (February 3, 2021) – Tuesday night, a 41-year-old woman sustained minor injuries after being hit by a four-door sedan at the I and 4th Streets intersection.
 
The Eureka crash happened at about 7:20 on February 2.
 
According to reports, the victim appears to have been in the crosswalk. However, who had what traffic signal remains under investigation.
 
Emergency personnel treated the victim’s injuries on location before taking her to the hospital.
 
Meanwhile, the 61-year-old driver, who didn’t appear hurt, spoke with law officials and was released.
 
Moreover, alcohol did not appear to be a factor in the collision.
 
The incident remains under investigation; charges will be filed against the driver if a crime is discovered.
