71-Year-Old Woman Seriously Injured after Hit-And-Run Crash on Northside Drive in Mission Valley
Mission Valley, CA (April 16, 2021) – Wednesday afternoon, a 71-year-old woman sustained serious injuries in a hit-and-run crash on Northside Drive.
The Mission Valley hit-and-run crash happened shortly before 2:15 p.m on April 14, near Lowe’s store on Northside Drive, south of Friars Road.
Reportedly, the pedestrian walked near the front entrance of the store when she was struck by a motorist driving a gold 2003-model four-door Honda Accord, California license plate 4ZNN918.
However, the motorist immediately fled the scene, leaving the victim seriously injured.
The woman suffered a fractured right femur and multiple head lacerations.
Meanwhile, a witness followed the suspect but lost sight of the Honda in the North Park area.
Police said the car sustained moderate front-end damage and might also damage the right side of the windshield.
Further, investigators ask the public for help in locating the vehicle and the suspect.
