SAN DIEGO, CA (June 10, 2021) – Wednesday night, a pedestrian suffered injuries in a hit-and-run crash on Imperial Avenue and 63rd Street.
 
The incident occurred at around 8:25 p.m., Officer Robert Heims said. Reports revealed that as the pedestrian crossed against a red light, a westbound driver sped up to beat a light before it turned red.
 
“The vehicle struck the pedestrian and then fled the scene,” Heims revealed. At this time, the authorities haven’t identified the make and model of the vehicle. However, they described the vehicle as dark in color.
 
Meanwhile, responders took the unidentified victim to a hospital with grave injuries.
