71-Year-Old Hospitalized after Hit-And-Run Crash on East Gum Avenue in Woodland
Woodland, CA (October 21, 2021) – Police are still looking for a hit-and-run suspect after a crash leaving a 71-year-old pedestrian on East Gum Avenue.
The hit-and-run crash happened at around 7 p.m. on October 14 at East Gum Avenue and Thomas Street.
Reportedly, when officers arrived on the scene, they found the pedestrian with life-threatening injuries.
EMS transported the 71-year-old victim to UC Davis Medical Center.
However, the vehicle immediately fled the scene.
Woodland Police described the vehicle as similar to a white, GMC Yukon XL Denali, most likely a model between 1999 and 2006. “It most likely will have minor to moderate damage near the driver-side headlamp assembly and front driver-side fender.”
