Police Search Hit-And-Run Driver after Crash on Chester Avenue in Bakersfield
Bakersfield, CA (July 13, 2022) – Wednesday morning, a pedestrian sustained injuries in a hit-and-run crash on Chester Avenue and Warren Avenue.
The hit-and-run crash in Bakersfield happened at around 7:45 a.m. on July 13.
CHP said a blue Honda Civic with paper plates drove onto the sidewalk and hit the pedestrian then fled the scene towards North High School.
The victim was lying in the bike lane of the road wearing a white shirt, jeans, and black Nike.
Emergency personnel took the victim to Kern Medical with moderate injuries.
CHP deputies found a car in the alley of 500 block Wilson.
No other information is immediately available.
Further investigation into this crash is underway.
