1 Hospitalized in Sacramento Pedestrian Crash on Elvas Avenue
SACRAMENTO, CA (December 14, 2020) – Saturday afternoon, a pedestrian sustained injuries in a hit-and-run accident on Elvas Avenue.
According to the Sacramento Police Department, the incident happened at around 3:15 p.m., at the 5900 block of Elvas Avenue.
Responders transported the pedestrian to a hospital after sustaining major injuries. Moreover, the victim is expected to recover from injuries, Officer Justin Hanks said.
Meanwhile, the authorities found the vehicle involved. However, the driver was not there.
The incident remains under active investigation. It is still unknown if drugs or alcohol are factors in the crash.
