1 Hurt and 1 Arrested in Clark County Pedestrian Accident on Northeast 86th Avenue
CLARK COUNTY, WA (August 14, 2022) – Saturday night, a pedestrian sustained injuries after a vehicle crash on Northeast 86th Avenue.
According to the Clark County Sheriff’s Office, the incident happened at around 11:45 p.m. Moreover, it occurred near the 10400 block of Northeast 86th Avenue.
Reports revealed that a stolen car was parked at a gas station at the Arco on Northeast Fourth Plain Boulevard. Then, authorities attempted to pull over the vehicle but the driver fled the scene. Then, the driver struck a bystander in the process.

Officers followed the suspect vehicle but terminated the chase when the vehicle exceeded speeds of over 110 mph on Northeast 76th Street.
Moreover, more officers spotted the vehicle. Later, they pulled over the vehicle at a dead end near the 10400 block of Northeast 86th Avenue.
Then, the driver fled on foot into the Curtin Creek natural area. Also, officers managed to locate and arrest the teen driver with the help of K9 units and air assistance.
Furthermore, responders rushed to the scene at the gas pump but did not locate the pedestrian involved in the first incident.
Meanwhile, the incident remained under investigation.
